Hart back on Stamp Blue-line for 2016-2017

Rich Hart will be back with the Stampede for his second stint with the club in the NA3HL.  Hart, the 6'3" 210lb 1998 birth-year defenceman from Liverpool, NY.  Will certainly be turning heads of several NAHL and College coaches over the course of next season.  "Rich is a great kid that is one of the hardest working players I have met both on and off the ice.  He has the potential to play NCAA hockey for sure, it's just waiting to see at what level he can reach over the next couple of seasons."  stated Coach Mike Beavis.

"Hart is big player that is still filling out and adjusting to juniors but he has a huge upside (literally).  He is poised with the puck and wins his battles.  He is a defensive defenceman but shows an offensive side at times."  added Beavis  The coaching staff will most likley pair up Hart with a more offensive style partner for the upcoming season as a way to balance things a bit on their blue-line.

"I met Rich at our pre-draft camp earlier this spring and was very impressed with his work ethic as well a his outlook of striving to get better every day."  stated assistant coach Kyle Althen.  "His size is somewhat terrifying when you see him on skates for the first time and realize he is only a 98 !" added Althen.  The staff also added that Hart is a player that is very calm and almost considered a happy go lucky kid that is very composed when he plays.  Although he is a more defensive style player, it is well known by his teammates that when he steps into one he has a cannon and is surley not to be counted off the score sheet by any means.

The Stampede are featuring player profiles over the next few weeks to introduce you to new additions to the team and to re-introduce you to returning players as well.  Staff profiles will be released in mid August as the team approaches training camp and pre-season beginning August 29th.

The Stamp are still looking to sew up a couple roster spost for 2016-2017 and are currently looking for two forwards and one defenceman to round out this seasons roster.  Interested players should contact GM / Head Coach Mike Beavis at mbeavis@syracusestampede.com for more information on the Stampede.
