Malik Lamotte-Stokes Returns For Second Stint With Stamp

Malik Lamotte-Stokes will be in his second season with the Stampede. Lamotte-Stokes, the 5’11” 215 lb 19 year old forward from Anaheim, CA will look to build on his rookie season. “Meke is an awesome guy in and out of the rink. He will be a fan favorite for sure.” states Stampede Coach Kyle Althen. Malik or as his teammates have named him (Meke) is a character guy for the team and plays that role well. “Meke is a guy that puts every effort into every day and is one of the most positive guys I have ever met. Wherever life takes him he will do well he is just one of those people that has the ability to impress.” added Coach Beavis. Lamotte-Stokes will be a guy that will be heavily involved with Minor Hockey and the local youth both on and off the ice this season as he is always eager to help and work in the community.

The Stampede are busy preparing for a three game home weekend this week with games VS Roc-City Friday night at the “Fort”. Then, facing off VS the Jersey Shore Wildcats Saturday evening and again on Sunday afternoon.
