Walker Joins Stampede for 2015-2016

The Stampede would like to introduce you to Ithaca NY native Nate Walker.  Walker who made his brief junior hockey debut last season with the Stampede has made the move to juniors full time in addition to attending Morrisville State University part time for the 2015-2016 season.  "Nate has speed and is a very offensive player that works hard both on and off the puck". Stated Stampede Coach Mike Beavis.   The 5'11 175lb forward will be a huge asset to the Stampede offense this season and should see plenty of action on special teams for the Stampede.

Nate spent the last two seasons with New York D1 Ithaca High School, leading the team in scoring and plus/minus rating both seasons, netting 48G and 32A in 39 games.  Nate earned D1 all-state honors both seasons with Ithaca and was named all-tournament at the NY. State finals.  Walker served as team captain in his last season with Ithaca.

"Nate will be a fun player to watch this season and should catch the eye of several colleges looking to add future depth to their offence".  Added Beavis.
