White between the pipes with Stampede

Ben White will play a huge part in net this season with the Stampede. The 1998 birth year goaltender from Cuyahoga, OH. Will share time in net in his rookie season in junior hockey. ” Ben is a very good reaction goaltender that is focused both on and off the ice. I watched him play last season and invited him to our camp this summer. We saw some things we really liked and tendered him shortly after camp” states Stampede coach Kyle Althen. The 6’2″ 175 lb White has already proved his value with the Stampede in the early going. “Ben is a great guy to have around, he gives it his all every day both on and off the ice and is a very easy going guy” added coach Beavis.

White while only a rookie this season is hoping to make the jump to college next season and certainly has the grades and work ethic to possibly accomplish that according to the coaching staff. “We are going to do what we can to help Ben make that a very strong possibility for next season.” added Althen
