Oswego native Josh Wallace will be back for his second season with the Stampede for 2015-2016. Wallace is coming off a decent rookie season with the Stampede netting 6 goals and 3 assists in 33 games.
Wallace, The Oswego High School senior will forgo his last season with the Bucs to concentrate on juniors full season with the hopes of turning some heads in the college hockey world. "Josh is one of the hardest working players that we have on our team, always looking to improve his game to achieve his aspirations of playing at a higher level." States Head Coach Mike Beavis.
The Stampede will look to Wallace as a blue collar type player this season, never intimidated by his oponents and works hard both in the corners and in front of the net. "Over the past four summers Josh has worked with us, attending CNY Prospects and has continuously worked on improving his skills, speed and strength. I have enjoyed watching the development of Josh over the years and hope to be a part of helping him reach his college dreams in the future." added Beavis Wallace recently had a very good showing at the Hamilton College camp and is eager to get going on the 2015-2016 season.
